Sub10 Systems further expands into Central and South America with new partner Abditel and distribution hub in Miami
New partner Abditel distributing Sub10’s full range of Liberator wireless point-to-point Ethernet bridges throughout Central and South America
Sub10 Systems, the developer of millimetre wave point-to-point radio equipment, has partnered with Latin American telecommunications equipment distributor Abditel to provide the Liberator family of 60 to 80 GHz point-to-point wireless bridges throughout Central and South America. Abditel has established a new business hub in Miami in order to be able to provide rapid and responsive customer support for the region as it establishes its distribution chain across the region.
Stuart Broome, CEO of Sub10 Systems, explains: “We are seeing more and more interest for our unlicensed and lightly licensed V and E band radios throughout Central and South America, as the lower frequency bands become congested and regulators begin to open up these bands for use. These bands are suitable a large variety of short haul high capacity applications, including small cell and CCTV backhaul, Internet provision and fibre extension. We are very pleased to be able to work with Abditel to establish our partner network throughout the region.”
Abditel represents a number of leading wireless vendors. Antonio Magaña, CEO of Abditel, comments: “The Liberator products are a great addition to our telecommunications and IT portfolio. Not only do they provide high capacity carrier-class connectivity, with minimal or no licensing fees, they are also compact and lightweight which means that we can quickly and easily acquire sites and deploy the radios. ”
Effective immediately, Abditel will be working throughout Central and South America to develop a network of distribution, installation and support partners, with initial focus on Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Central America.
