Dr. Kevin J. Negus

From 1998 to 2002, Kevin was the Chief Technology Officer of then publicly-traded Proxim Corporation in Sunnyvale, CA where he was responsible for core technology strategy including silicon development, acquisitions, standards participation and intellectual property licensing. Since 2002, Kevin has been helping startup companies achieve business and technology leadership as well as providing expert witness consulting services to numerous companies large and small on patent related matters. His clients have included startup companies such as WiDeFi, Quantance, GainSpan, SiTime, Mojix and AirTight as well as wireless market leading companies such as Apple, Cisco, Blackberry, Motorola, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, HP, Dell, Sierra Wireless, Novatel and others. In his 30+ years of engineering, he has published more than 40 technical papers and holds about 25 US patents. Kevin has also provided public service as a member of the FCC’s Technical Advisory Committee and as a member of the Wyoming State Telecommunications Council.
