Sub10 Systems and KonekTel partner to provide high capacity services for Magnalink
Sub10 Systems, the developer of millimetre wave point-to-point radio equipment, is supplying its Liberator wireless bridges to Magnalink, a.s. in the Czech Republic, supported by new distribution partner KonekTel.
Magnalink will be using Sub10’s radios, primarily the Liberator-E1000e operating in the 80 GHz band, to replace existing microwave links where greater capacity is needed for Internet and television supply. Providing capacity of up to 1 Gbit/s and supporting distances of up to 4 km, the Liberator-E1000e will be used to provide Internet and television services throughout Magnalink’s customer network.
Stefan Mocko, GM of KonekTel, comments: “The Liberator radios are perfect for Magnalink’s needs, because not only do they provide the capacity needed, but their small and lightweight form factor means that we can quickly and easily deploy radios throughout our customer’s service area. We are very pleased to be able to add Sub10’s products to our portfolio of radio solutions, as they fill a very specific niche of high capacity short haul connectivity for a variety of applications.”
As well as now representing Sub10 Systems in the Czech Republic, KonekTel work with a number of other leading radio brands including Motorola and Cambium. Tomas Bergmann, Channel Director at Sub10 Systems, comments: “KonekTel is a great addition to the Sub10 network of partners. They have vast experience across a wide range of radio applications, understand exactly where our radios fit into their customers’ infrastructure, and have the skills and experience required to provide the full complement of products and services needed to support our end user base.”
Deployment of the Sub10 radios is beginning immediately, with the large scale network being rolled out over the coming months.
